Tie Logic

When final standings are calculated at Friday’s game end close snapshot, ties are allowed and handled transparently.

How ties work

• If two portfolios finish equal to the cent, it’s a tie.

• Ranking: We use competition ranking (e.g., 1, 2, 2, 4).

• Payouts: Tied players split the combined prizes for the tied places equally.

• Portfolio values are computed from the official oracle snapshots at kickoff and close.

Examples

• Two-way tie for 1st: both players split 1st + 2nd prize. The next player is 3rd.

• Three-way tie for 3rd: those players split 3rd + 4th + 5th prize. The next player is 6th.

• Tie at 5th (last winners spot): tied players split the 5th-place prize equally.

Final Results

• Final results are posted after a short validation pass, then prizes are airdropped to your LARP wallet in USDC on Base.
